Case Study - Intelligent Invoicing and Order Management with AI

Overview

BriskMfg partnered with Livehop to revolutionize their invoicing and purchase order processes. We developed an advanced AI-powered module that allows users to:

• Create and Edit Invoices: Users can generate and modify invoices with ease.
• Chat with Invoices: Engage in a conversational interface to query invoice details and receive instant responses.
• Auto-Correct Errors: The system provides AI-driven suggestions for corrections, enhancing accuracy.
• Optimize Orders: Automatically round up orders to improve manufacturing and shipping efficiencies.

Our solution integrates multiple AI models, utilizing a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) application with PostgreSQL PG Vectors and embeddings. The application is hosted on a Kubernetes cluster that fires Kafka events, which are then fed into Large Language Models (LLMs) to enable real-time interaction with the state of different orders.

Additionally, we implemented an agentic workflow for email management:

• Automated Email Sorting: Incoming emails are categorized and assigned to appropriate agents.
• Draft Response Generation: AI generates email drafts for agent review, reducing response times by at least 50%.
